This is the control panel from my new Samsung washing machine that was delivered a few weeks ago. We have a Samsung television (yes, the one that was fixed with a twisty tie) and I have had several Samsung mobile phones. I did not know they made clothes washers, the most frequently used machine in the house. I like to wash.
This machine is just a little too smart for me. It jiggles and weighs the load to determine how much water to shoot in--so fast and noisy it could wake the dead. I don't know what's happening in there after it locks. It does have a pause, but I am used to having very simple washers that don't lock me out. Also, I like choice, but this machine may have more options than I can handle.
I am getting used to it, with all its bells and whistles. It doesn't just beep or buzz--it has little notification tunes. I wish I could choose to download my own tunes, like on a Samsung phone.
All in all, it seems to be a pretty nifty washer. Life is good when all your machines work well!
(The husband hasn't tried it yet. Do you think he can run a successful load of whites? I'll make sure he has a lesson before I leave to spend a few days with my Florida girls).
