Christmas is Coming!

There are snowflakes flying and flames flickering in the gas stove--and I am beginning to think that Christmas just might be coming soon.

Today we received our first Christmas card. It seems almost quaint (even if it was by Shutterfly) that people still send out cards.

 I also received notice of my first Christmas present--a gift subscription to Food and Wine magazine.

I have no Christmas tree up yet, but I have strewn Christmas lights all over the house, including on a small Norfolk pine in the computer room and in the bathroom.

The days are dark and the nights come early, so I leave low lights on everywhere.

 I need to do some serious shopping soon--even to find those small "stocking" gifts that are my responsibility. If this wintry weather continues, Amazon might have to be our go-to store this year.

Yes, it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Are you ready? Are you already pooped out from getting ready?
